CANADA's MOST EXCITING HEAVY BAND RELOADS for THE FOLLOW-UP, OMENS II.

“A band in full command of its sonic weapons.”

- Headbanger Nation

“Be prepared to bang your head.”

- Metal Roadie

“A combustible metal masterpiece.”

- Senocular Media

With their debut album reported by many to be one of 2024’s best front-to-back listens, OMENS has since racked up over 400,000 views and 5,600+ subscribers on YouTube, clearly earning a place in the dark hearts of hard rock and metal fans in the know.

Now they’re back with a second dose, OMENS II, being released over the next several months, one single at a time, beginning with “Any Means” on May 23, 2025.

“Though we much prefer putting out albums, we’re excited to see how our audience responds to this more modern approach for releasing our music,” says guitarist Mike Keller. “Now that our first album is out there as a foundation, we’re just gonna keep piling onto what we’ve built, with the hope of pleasing the omniscient and almighty algorithm gods one killer new song at a time.”

First up, “Any Means” is an unrelenting battle cry perfectly suited to the current state of political dumpster fires burning around the globe; the accompanying video so frenetic and unflinching, it carries a pre-emptive warning for anyone with epilepsy or photosensitivities.

“It’s the heaviest thing we’ve ever written,” declares singer Trev Tuminski. “When we started pulling together ideas for what the second album was going to be, it just stood out as the perfect expression and reaction to the uncertainty in the world right now. We knew it had to be the first thing people heard from us as far as new original music.”

That distinction comes on the heels of the band releasing cover versions of “Demon Cleaner” by desert legends Kyuss, “Black” by Pearl Jam, and “Planet of Sound” by seminal art-rockers the Pixies, the latter two tracks being fulfillments for perks offered by the band’s successful Indiegogo campaign to bring their debut album to double gatefold LP and CD.

‘We loved the challenge and had a lot of fun giving those songs the OMENS treatment,” admits drummer Don Jacks. “Though the next OMENS record is our priority, you can probably expect some more surprises like that along the way.”

For now, keep your ear to the ground for a regular cadence of new tracks from the four-piece, rounded out by bassist Mike Onufreychuk.

“There’s not gonna be any sophomore slump with this band,” he says. “The OMENS universe is expanding and you’re gonna love where we’re taking you.”
