With their debut album reported by many to be one of 2024’s best front-to-back listens, OMENS has since racked up over 600,000 views and 7,500+ subscribers on YouTube, clearly earning a place in the dark hearts of music fans hungry for straight-up heavy hooks. 

 

Now they’re back with a second dose, OMENS II, being released over the next several months, one single at a time. The latest: "Seance," a lean, punky little rocker about the boundless ends of love eternal. 

 

“Focusing on releasing one song at a time is a new concept for us,” admits guitarist Mike Keller. “But when you look at the streams and views going up, and we hear from new fans who are digging our stuff, it’s worth the commitment required to continually write, record, and release new singles every 6-8 weeks.”

 

Four singles in, a relentless energy seems to be the common agent in what are actually quite a diverse set of songs. While OMENS' self-titled debut was about driving a serrated stake into the ground, this is the sound of a band that has both found its identity and bears the confidence to continue pushing for more, new, and different.  

 

“We’re still a pretty new band,” says singer Trev Tuminski. “Every song we put out just adds a little more meat to what OMENS is all about, even for us.”

 

For drummer Don Jacks, the difference between OMENS and other bands he’s played with lies simply in the foursome’s divide-and-conquer approach. 

 

“There’s a ton of potential here from all four of us pushing in the same direction. Everybody kinda brings their own superpower to the songwriting, recording, and promotional sides of things, and we are just having a blast!”
