CANADA's MOST EXCITING HEAVY BAND RELOADS for THE FOLLOW-UP, OMENS II.

“A band in full command of its sonic weapons.”
- Headbanger Nation
“Be prepared to bang your head.”
- Metal Roadie
“A combustible metal masterpiece.”
- Senocular Media
With their debut album reported by many to be one of 2024’s best front-to-back listens, OMENS has since racked up over 400,000 views and 5,600+ subscribers on YouTube, clearly earning a place in the dark hearts of hard rock and metal fans in the know.

Now they’re back with a second dose, OMENS II, being released over the next several months, one single at a time, with “You’ve Got a Hold on Me” (dropped on 08/08) following “Any Means” (05/23).
“Though we much prefer putting out albums, we’re excited to see how our audience responds to this more modern approach for releasing our music,” says guitarist Mike Keller. “Now that our first album is out there as a foundation, we’re just gonna keep piling onto what we’ve built, with the hope of pleasing the omniscient and almighty algorithm gods one killer new song at a time.”
While first single “Any Means” was an unrelenting battle cry, “You’ve Got a Hold on Me” finds the band leaning into a monster riff and singalong chorus devoted to a dark, neon-drenched encounter with a mysterious femme fatale.
“We’ve all experienced an immediate connection with an attractive stranger when the night takes a turn for the sexy,” explains singer Trev Tuminski. “You’ve had a couple cocktails, your inhibitions are down, and there’s this exciting feeling that anything could happen. That’s what’s at the dark heart of this one.”

All of this comes on the heels of the band releasing cover versions of “Demon Cleaner” by desert legends Kyuss, “Black” by Pearl Jam, and “Planet of Sound” by seminal art-rockers the Pixies, the latter two tracks being fulfillments for perks offered by the band’s successful Indiegogo campaign to bring their debut album to double gatefold LP and CD.
For now, keep your ear to the ground for a regular cadence of new tracks from the four-piece, rounded out by drummer Don Jacks and bassist Mike Onufreychuk.
“There’s not gonna be any sophomore slump with this band,” he says. “The OMENS universe is expanding and you’re gonna love where we’re taking you.”

OMENS is...
Mike Keller - guitars
Don Jacks - drums
Trev Tuminski - vocals, guitar
Mike Onufreychuk - bass
